Cdr (Rtd) Khairul Anwar bin Ibrahim
Cdr (Rtd) Khairul Anwar bin Ibrahim RMN joined the Royal Malaysian Navy in 1981 and commissioned in the Executive Branch.
In 1986, he attended Mine Warfare and Clearance Diving Officer Course, HMS NELSON in Portsmouth United Kingdom. In 2001, He finished Advanced Diploma in Strategy and Defence Studies at University of Malaya before continuing his study for Master of Management in 2004 at the same institute.
Cdr (Rtd) Khairul Anwar has served various appointments during his tenure as a naval officer. He has served as Diving Officer at Royal Malaysian Navy Regional Headquarters as well as ship appointments. He also served as an Executive Officer and as well as Commanding Officer of Mine Counter Vessel (MCMV) and Patrol Craft (PC).
Upon his retirement, he involved in commercial diving industries when he joined Hamdan Abdullah & HA Marine Sdn. Bhd (HASB) where he appointed as an Operation Manager ( Diving). He is responsible to the CEO in the aspect of company’s administration and diving operations.
In 2011, he founded SAA Engineering & Marine Sdn. Bhd. with two other partners, Mohd Saufi Yusof and Mohd Anuwar Hamzah. He was entrusted to be Marine Director a role in which he can comfortably apply his excellent people and negotiating skills to its maximum. In addition to directing and managing the preparation of tenders and proposals, he also spends a great deal of his time in engaging customers for business development and marketing.
